Congratulations Lone Dollier for winning!
This is a really simple project for the beginning felt toy maker.
If you can use scissors and sew a blanket stitch, You Can Do This!
1 sheet of off white felt
1 spool of matching thread
1 skeen of matching embroidery thread
1 pair of very sharp fabric scissors
Small pieces of colored felt and matching thread
A small amount of cotton batting or polyfill
Making your Templates
First pour yourself a lovely cup of tea and take apart a tea bag. Use the paper label to trace your first template. Next draw a rectangle that measures 14.5 cm long and 5.5cm wide. Cut both your templates out.
Cutting Your Felt
From the off white felt cut out four rectangles and eight labels. From the colored felt cut out sweet shapes for the "flavors" of your tea. I chose lemon, mint, strawberry, and orange. Cut four identical sized pieces of embroidery thread, knot each at one end. Yes there is one extra set of stuff pictured above for someone special.
